In the existing area, the bar was the main element in the room. The rest of the room consisted of shelves and cupboards for storage space with a small bathroom area. These were not used extensively by the client and was taking up a lot of space. There was an opportunity to increase the living area of the room.
The client had multiple requests including:

- The redesign of the stairs
- Removal of the cupboards and shower area
- A wine cellar
- Storage area behind the bar
- Sitting area
- Warmer lighting
